Comprehensive Exam

The comprehensive exam is a non-graded exam administered by the College in order to improve student success. This is a national exam administered by Peregrine Systems. This provides a way for the College to receive national recognition among the top business programs in the country and to compare student learning across the program with other business schools.

The two hour exam will test your knowledge in a variety of business disciplines. It is likely that some questions will cover material that is new to you. That is okay and to be expected. The test bank is enormous, and it is impossible to cover all material in a single academic program. Also, you may have forgotten some material, as it would have been covered many semesters ago. That is okay, too.

At the end of the exam, you will receive information about your score and asked to complete a survey. This information, too, is to provide Oak Valley with important feedback about its academic program.

In the end, please do your best on the exam, so Oak Valley and you are able to receive an accurate reflection of your academic career.

Follow the instructions below to complete your exam. You will have three minutes to complete each question. You may take two 15 minute breaks during the exam. You may also “pause” the exam, but you must return and complete it within 48 hours. Again, do your best, and congratulations on your achievements at Oak Valley College.
