Different is…Together
Earning your Bachelor’s degree isn’t just about advancing your career.
Your degree is about growing into the person you were meant to be and embarking on your unique journey. At Oak Valley College, we’re here to help you reach your full potential, both personally and professionally.
Your Classes Are More Than Lectures
Our classroom experience feels familiar, but helps you grow and thrive in ways a traditional college can’t.
You’ll enter college with a small cohort (group) of peers who will be together every semester until graduation. The shared experience is transformative, creating a container where students can live, learn, and grow as members of a closely-knit community.
As an Oak Valley College student, you’ll also connect with professors who truly know and understand you. Ultimately, you’ll gain lifelong friends and mentors whose encouragement extends far beyond the classroom.
We host “Gather & Grow” the first Wednesday or Thursday every month (the days alternate month-to-month).
Come gather between classes with our Christ-centered community of believers. It’s a great time to worship, interact, and recharge with your fellow students and mentors.
We are always looking for students to help support our “Gather & Grow” events. Once you’ve enrolled, ask about how to get involved.
Worship and Recharge
Student Leadership is one way to serve the Oak Valley College community.
When you serve as a leader in a campus committee or club, you’ll be helping to shape student life on campus.
As part of Oak Valley’s Student Leadership, you’ll enrich your relationships and enhance your college experience. If you have the bandwidth in your class and work schedules to get involved, we’d love to have you.
Serve on Campus
Come Hang Out in the Courtyard
Join us for regular Courtyard Hangs.
Twice a month, Student Leadership hosts a Courtyard Hang where students can stay connected and in fellowship with one another. Hang out with us for snacks, games, prizes, and good conversation to decompress from your regular coursework.
Oak Valley College in Rialto proudly partners with Sunrise Church, and Oak Valley College in Santa Ana proudly partners with Calvary Church, to host our campuses.
Being co-located with both of these churches saves every student thousands of dollars on tuition each semester. The churches extend Oak Valley College’s reach into the community as a trusted ministry partner and supporter of community events and activities.
The Campuses
Work one-on-one with a professional mentor from the community.
Early in your first-semester, we’ll pair you with an advisor who will stay connected with you throughout your time at Oak Valley College. Advisors are leaders and professionals in the local community who are carefully selected to mentor you on your educational journey.
You’ll connect one-on-one with your advisor on a regular basis to discuss your goals and aspirations for personal and career development. Your advisor will encourage and motivate you, while helping you explore professional opportunities and options for the future.
