Oak Valley College is guided by a group of Christian professionals seeking to give back to the local community through education. Leaders come from a diverse backgrounds, both professionally and personally. Together we share a faith-focused desire to disciple (teach and train) young adults to contribute to the leadership of their workplace, family, community, and church.

President
Eric Blum, MPA - President Blum guides and manages the day-to-day operations of Oak Valley College, including implementation of the mission, vision, and values. President Blum earned his MPA from the University of Washington and his BA in Government, Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College. Mr. Blum has 30 years of higher education experience including leadership positions at UCLA, UC Riverside, and the University of Redlands. President Blum has been married for more than 30 years and has two adult children. He serves on the Board of the Barnabas Group Inland Empire, and has led a Free Wheelchair Mission team on trips to Jamaica.

Dean of Academics
Jason Barker, DMin - As the Dean of Academics, Dr. Barker partners with our first-class faculty to ensure Oak Valley College students benefit from high academic standards and a spiritually enriching Christian community. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of West Florida and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to joining the team at Oak Valley College, Dr. Barker served in local church and parachurch ministries for twenty years, while also teaching as an adjunct faculty member at several colleges and seminaries. When not working, he can be found reading leadership, theology, and sci-fi/fantasy books or, most likely, hanging out with his wife, Ruthie, and their four children.

Faculty Chair and Professor of Business
Debbie Martis, MBA - University of Redlands, BS in Business - California State University, San Bernardino. Professor Martis is the Founder and CEO of Rebirth Homes, a Christian nonprofit serving women who have been victims of human trafficking. She teaches Leadership, Accounting, and Finance. Prior to launching Rebirth Homes, Professor Martis served as Executive Director of Sandals Church, VP of Operations for Newport Boats, Director of Support Services for Campus Crusade for Christ, and Director of Financial Services for Resort Condominium International Management.

Professor of Theology
Terry Morrow, PhD – Professor Morrow oversees the theology courses and integration of theological concepts across the curriculum. Professor Morrow began full-time ministry in 1984. He is the long-term pastor of Hillside Community Church in Wrightwood, CA, where he has led the church through growth and extensive building projects. He earned his BA from Corban University, MA from Simpson University, and PhD in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary. He is the author of seven books on how the believer is to walk by faith and in the truths of God’s word. His purpose statement for both his personal life and that of his staff and church is: “We exist to empower people to passionately live out their love for Jesus.” Terry and his wife, Patti, have been married for over 40 years. They have two grown children and 7 grandchildren.

Professor of Liberal Arts and Writing Center Director
Robyn Luna, MA in History - University of London, BA in History - California Baptist University. Professor Luna is a seasoned writing and history instructor and teaches Early American History, Freshman Writing Seminar, and Masterpieces of Western Art and Music. She leads teams of students on international service projects and participates in the annual Advanced Placement (AP) US History exam reading conference.

Director of Student and Faculty Services, Registrar, and Accreditation Liaison Officer
Meg Graham, MS - Mrs. Graham serves as Manager of Student and Faculty Services, supporting students and faculty administratively, spiritually and however she is called to do so. She earned her BS at the University of Phoenix and is currently enrolled in graduate school. She is a firm believer that Christ has called on us all to serve, in any capacity. “The best way to show our gratitude is through kindness and continuous acts of service.” She believes in a person-specific relationship with Christ, the power of prayer and smiling faces. Meg also oversees financial aid. academic records and student academic affairs for the College, as well as serves as lead counsel on accreditation matters with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Admissions Counselor and Recruiter
Nick Macias-Williams, MA - Mr. Macias-Williams serves as an Admissions Counselor and Recruiter at Oak Valley College, where he helps guide prospective students through the enrollment process. As a first-generation college graduate, Mr. Macias-Williams understands the significance of earning a degree. Graduating from Cal State University, San Bernardino, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Creative Writing and a Master of Arts in Composition and Linguistics, opened doors for Mr. Macias-Williams to work in international education with partners from around the world. This shaped his belief that anyone who wants to go to college and achieve more for themselves and their family should be able to do it. He has spent his entire professional career working in higher education, in different roles, but with the singular goal to help students reach their maximum potential.
