Pell Grants

Pell Grants are administered by the US Department of Education to students with extraordinary financial need. Pell Grants are need based financial assistance (not loans). Eligible students determine their entitlement by submitting financial information through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students receiving a full Pell Grant pay a few hundred dollars per semester to earn their bachelor’s degree at Oak Valley. Students who are both Cal Grant and Pell Grant may receive funds to pay for some student living expenses.*
