Nick Musulman
Nick, a senior at Oak Valley College, has the heart of an entrepreneur and a desire to share God’s love through business. Nick has always dreamed about going into business for himself, and the thought of going to school for four (or more) years to earn a degree seemed like a lifetime to him. When he heard about Oak Valley, the return on investment just made sense. He could earn his business degree in just 32 months and would graduate without student loan debt! What he didn’t expect is how the experience would transform him personally. As an 18-year-old who had been homeschooled his entire life, he was a bit nervous about fitting into a college environment. Nick found that he enjoys the social aspect of attending school with his peers and the personal attention he receives from his professors. The hands-on approach to learning and guest speakers have opened Nick’s eyes to aspects of business he never considered. Nick says he has become a better communicator. He is able to present ideas more clearly, which he knows will be beneficial as he begins to dream beyond school to starting a career in real estate investment and opening a personal training business.
There’s never been a more pressing need for Christ-centered, servant leaders in our world. We are thankful for the investment that you have already made in Nick and other Oak Valley students. Please join us in praying for our seniors, who will be graduating in just a few months. As they each forge their paths ahead with their business degree, we pray they use their debt-free education to do great things that will benefit our community and glorify God.
