Fall 2023 Retreat

"Amazing," "Incredible," and "Transformational." These are just a few of the adjectives students used to express their experience in the High Sierras.

Oak Valley students traveled to the High Sierras last month. For many, this was the first trip to the mountains. For nearly all of them, this was the first time rock climbing, repelling, and sleeping under the stars.

Thanks to Tom Smith and the team at Summit Adventure for providing a faith-filled adventure, and special thanks to Advisory Board Member Bryan Feller for introducing Oak Valley to Summit Adventures. We plan to be back next year with more students ready for more memories.
